Strange to relate Bath town houses were not built with the disabled in mind! The Sir Walter Elliot's and Mrs Clays bedrooms are on the second floor 63 glorious stone cantilevered steps up from the entrance hall. Mrs Smith's bedroom as you remember is up in the garret and is a further 21 steps to go! We normally await arrivals between 17.30hrs and 19.00hrs. However if you wish to arrive outside these hours we are very happy to welcome you at a time to suit by prior arrangement. On the day of departure we request access to the rooms from about 10.30am, so we can strip the bedlinen, but it is sometimes possible to arrange to leave your luggage for collection later in the day . |
